Caesar (blond) salad
What you need
  • Agricola Moderna blond lettuce
  • Grilled chicken breast or any vegetable alternative
  • Croutons of bread
  • Parmesan cheese shavings
  • And... the legendary sauce made with oil, lemon, mustard, egg yolk, Worcestershire sauce and anchovies.
What you can do

Start with the most time-consuming preparation: the legendary dip. Start by mashing the anchovies, pepper, lemon zest and mustard in a bowl with a fork. Then add the egg yolk and lemon juice. Finally slowly pour in the oil and whisk the sauce, finishing it off with a few drops of Worcestershire Sauce.

Now it's all downhill: place the Agricola Moderna blond lettuce in a bowl, lay the shredded chicken, bread croutons and parmesan shavings on top. Season now with the legendary sauce and enjoy!

Smashburger salad
What you need
  • Modern agricultural blond lettuce
  • Smashburger
  • Cheddar cheese
  • White onion
  • Ketchup
What you can do

The strettest recipe associated with the healthiest food: we bet you'll be licking your chops! Slice the onion and keep it aside. Then prepare your smashburger by cooking it and mashing it properly on the griddle. Place the cheese on top and let it melt. Now assemble all the ingredients: arrange the blond lettuce leaves on the cutting board, lay your chees smashburger on top, garnish with ketchup onion rings and finish it off with more blond lettuce daughters. Soft and juicy it will be a real treat for the palate, guilt-free!

My superpower? Growing vertically.we don't only yeld more by taking less space, moreover our cultivation method needs so little water that we recycle used water and water generated by our plants.

i am born, i grow and i run on the shelves
In Agnadello, in the province of Cremona, there is the Agricola Moderna Vertical Farm where indoor crops are grown using the hydroponic method. There, inside two facilities, each high up to 8 metres, I grow naturally protected and controlled.
DAY 1
Sowing
I am sown in an organic substrate, composed by organic, draining materials that help me grow healthy and strong.
Here we go!
What's on day 3?
DAY 3
Germination
I stay in a small enclosed cell and thanks to the darkness, humidity, uncontaminated air and controlled temperature, I finally germinate.
There’s light at the end of the tunnel!
From day 4 something starts
DAY 4-19
Growth
The secret of my beauty? LED lights with the right wave frequency and the hydroponic irrigation method. Therefore I grow healthy and protected.
My roots are growing strong.
On the 20th-are you ready?

Check-ups and Harvesting
For 20 days I grow and am monitored by careful agronomists and through technological sensors. Then I am cut, packed and ready to go on my way.
They control me because I am unpredictable.
The dawn of a new day: the 21st
DAY 21
Arrival at the supermarket
I am on the shelves in 24 hours, ready to be bought! I am grown in a naturally protected environment thanks to indoor farming, so I am naturally ready for consumption. I don’t undergo washing or treatment and therefore retain all my freshness and texture. Thanks to this small natural choice, I have a longer shelf life than all other salads.
