What you can do

An all-vegetable salad To say goodbuye to spring and wink at summer!

Start by unwrapping Agricola Moderna's Italian Misticanza in your bowl. Peel and wash the cucumber, asparagus and fresh peas. Now with the help of a mandoline cut in thiny slices the cucumber, with a potato peeler cut the asparagus into ribbons, and shell the peas. Lay all the vegetables on Agricola Moderna's Italian misticanza and season with a squeeze of lime and your favorite seasonings.

  • Already cooked red beet
  • Cherry tomatoes
  • Avocado
What you can do

This salad was created to enhance the green and red of the Italian Misticanza, but more importantly to accentuate its flavor! Start right away by preparing the ingredients: peel and wash the tomato and avocado and dice them. Dice the red beet as well, paying attention not to not to create a splatter setting near you. Now pour the Italian misticanza into a bowl and sprinkle it with all the ingredients you have prepared. Season as well with the sauce of your choice.

i am born, i grow and i run on the shelves
In Agnadello, in the province of Cremona, there is the Agricola Moderna Vertical Farm where indoor crops are grown using the hydroponic method. There, inside two facilities, each high up to 8 metres, I grow naturally protected and controlled.
DAY 1
Sowing
I am sown in an organic substrate, composed by organic, draining materials that help me grow healthy and strong.

What's on day 3?
DAY 3
Germination
I stay in a small enclosed cell and thanks to the darkness, humidity, uncontaminated air and controlled temperature, I finally germinate.
I see the light!
From day 4 something starts
DAY 4-19
Growth
The secret of my beauty? LED lights with the right wave frequency and the hydroponic irrigation method. Therefore I grow healthy and protected.
My roots are growing strong!
On the 20th-are you ready?

Check-ups and Harvesting
For 20 days I grow and am monitored by careful agronomists and through technological sensors. Then I am cut, packed and ready to go on my way.
I am 100% Italian

DAY 21
Arrival at the supermarket
I am on the shelves in 24 hours, ready to be bought! I am grown in a naturally protected environment thanks to indoor farming, so I am naturally ready for consumption. I don’t undergo washing or treatment and therefore retain all my freshness and texture. Thanks to this small natural choice, I have a longer shelf life than all other salads.
