A treat at every bite
Croissant stuffed with tenderness
What you need
  • Agricola Moderna tender salad
  • Salty croissant (or sweet, if you like extravagant pairings)
  • Smoked salmon or your favorite vegetable alternative
  • Cream cheese or your favorite vegetable alternative
  • Pink peppercorns
What you can do

One of the easiest recipes in history: buy croissants or make your own with puff pastry, cut them in half (be sure though, if you make them by yourself be sure to let them cool, don't rush!) and stuff them with tenderness. With Agricola Moderna tender salad, of course, but that's not all: spread both halves of the croissant with cheese (or a vegetable alternative), sprinkle with a few pink peppercorns, and place a few slices of smoked salmon or your favorite vegetable alternative.

What you need
  • Agricola Moderna tender salad
  • Almonds
  • Pomegranate
  • Orange zest
What you can do

Start by roughly chopping the almonds and toasting them in a skillet. Put in your bowl Insalata Tenera by Agricola Moderna, and sprinkle it with the toasted almonds, pomegranate kernels, and orange zest. A tip for the dressing: an orange juice and mustard dressing goes great with it.

My superpower? Growing vertically.we don't only yeld more by taking less space, moreover our cultivation method needs so little water that we recycle used water and water generated by our plants.

i am born, i grow and i run on the shelves
In Melzo, just outside Milan, there is an Agricola Moderna Vertical Farm where indoor crops are grown using the hydroponic method. There, inside two facilities, each 8 metres high, I grow naturally protected and controlled.
DAY 1
Sowing
I am sown in an organic substrate, composed by organic, draining materials that help me grow healthy and strong, while preventing me from coming into contact with Nickel or heavy metals.

What's on day 3?
DAY 3
Germination
I stay in a small enclosed cell and thanks to the darkness, humidity, uncontaminated air and controlled temperature, I finally germinate.
There’s light at the end of the tunnel!
From day 4 something starts
DAY 4-19
Growth
The secret of my beauty? LED lights with the right wave frequency and the hydroponic irrigation method. Therefore I grow healthy and protected, infact I am certified Nickel-free with Zero pesticides.
My roots get strong!
On the 20th-are you ready?

Check-ups and Harvesting
For 20 days I grow and am monitored by careful agronomists and through technological sensors. Then I am cut, packed and ready to go on my way.

DAY 21
Arrival at the supermarket
I am on the shelves in 24 hours, ready to be chosen! I am grown in a naturally protected environment thanks to indoor farming, so I am naturally ready for consumption. I don’t undergo washing or treatment and therefore retain all my freshness and texture. Thanks to this small natural choice, I have a longer shelf life than all other salads. I will be kept refrigerated up to 12 days after packing.

My packaging is made of 100% recyclable plastic and it is produced for the 70% from renewable resources.
In particular, from used frying oil that could not enter any other production cycle.
