The voluntary “Nickel free” certification certifies that within our products the Nickel content is below the analytical quantification limit of 0.01 mg/kg. As a matter of fact, currently, there are no maximum legal limits established for Nickel content in food. Nickel is a substance that causes adverse reactions in the human body beginning with allergy. There can be forms of allergy with skin or systemic reaction, formation of free radicals, reduction in the absorption and metabolism of other metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, and manganese.
The voluntary “Zero Pesticide” certification restricts the use of synthetic chemicals in order to enable products to be obtained without detectable synthetic chemical residues. In particular, thanks to indoor vertical cultivation using the hydroponic method, we can claim that our products are completely pesticide-free.
